REAL ID Act & Oklahoma

Beginning on May 3, 2023, every air traveler 18 years of age and older will need a REAL ID-compliant driver's license, state-issued enhanced driver's license, or another acceptable form of ID to fly within the United States.

The State of Oklahoma is now offering Real ID compliant driver’s licenses and identification cards. More information, including documents required and locations, can be found at https://www.realid.ok.gov/

Alternatively, U.S. Passports and U.S. Passport Cards are also accepted forms of identification to travel. More information on applying for one can be found at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html

A full list of acceptable identification for domestic travel, which includes Federally Recognized Tribal ID’s and DHS Trusted Traveler Cards, can be found at https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/identification
